Sculptra ® Biostimulator

Additionally, a sagging of the cheeks can occur in the lower part of the face. Sculptra ® is a biostimulator that activates our own body cells to produce new collagen and elastin. What is Sculptra ®

Sculptra ® is an injectable biostimulator that consists of poly-L-lactic acid. It activates our cells to produce new collagen and elastin.

Sculptra ® is beneficial to everyone that wants to improve the skin firmness, elasticity and structur. In addition Sculptra ® has a tightening effect and reduces skin sagging.

We recommend to avoid blood thinning medication such as aspirin one week before any injection.

The treatment area is disinfected and the Sculptra® is injected via a fine cannula under the skin.

Most treatment areas are almost painless. We offer anesthesia in form of a cream or an injection to ensure that our clients are comfortable at all times.

In general we recommend 2-3 treatments. Each treatment should be carried out 4 weeks apart.

Slight swelling and bruising can appear, which resolve within a few days.

Exercise should be avoided for 2 days and sauna visits should be avoided for 7 days. The injected area should be massaged. We will show you in the clinic how to best perform the massage.

First results are visible after 3 months.
